ASUS tablet computer Eee Pad to compete with Apple iPad

Ever since Apple launched its tablet computer iPad, many other companies are launching their own tablet computers into the market. All these are coming with same look but with different operating systems and with some more enhanced features. These are coming out with less price to compete with iPad. It is now Asus to launch a new tablet computer named Eee Pad.
Eee Pad runs on Microsoft windows 7 operating system. Asus is launching its tablets in 2 versions. One is named as EP101TC and other as EP121.

Features of Eee Pad are as below.
EP101TC – 10-inch screen
EP121 – 12-inch screen
Processor – Intel CULV Core 2 Duo processor
Battery life – 10 hours


However, Engadget had hands on with the device and says Eee Pad still needs to go a long way to catch with iPad. The UI and the touch screen seems to look and work great. But the functionality needs to be improved a lot.
